Love and Literature is an audio project aimed to understand the Teen Romance books that has only increased in popularity. But within these books are sometimes troubling depictions of domestic and sexual violence. With my conversation with NYU English professor, Wendy Lee, we went back in time to the beginning of the romance genre and how it became what it is today.
